I’m Thinking…NEW SERIES!

Sai here! I know…I know, I utter the words new series time and time again and usually most of them do not go very far. Some cases yes it is my fault, I tend to lose interest in some series I make, hence why I try to avoid making Let’s Plays as much as I can. it is much better for me to just make random videos and all that. Irregardless of this I am looking forward to making a few LP’s in the next few weeks. Or attempt too 😉 I really want to share the joy of one of my favorite video games ever Tales of Phantasia . I attempted to start a LP of that awhile back but I am a little more determined to try again this time around. Three other ones that have been rolling around in my brain lately have been Dust: An Elysian Tale, Dishonored, and Darksiders. Just a few random ideas.

Got any better ideas, or like my ideas? Tell us what you think!!!

Thanks for reading and catch ya next time!

The Dead Linger Game Play

Hey guys Sai here! Kanoromaru and I have recently been playing a new (ish) game. The game is called The Dead Linger. Currently this game is in Alpha on Steam and still has some “issues”. If you do not mind running into a few issues here and there then TDL is a good game to have fun on with a friend. And that is just what Kano and I did, we played some and we reocrded a few videos. Here in the first of a few 🙂

The Dead Linger Just Visiting

Hope you enjoy!!

New series?

Hey guys and gals! Just a short thoughts of the people post. Are there any games you guys would like us to do game plays on? Myself I have an extensive array of Steam games so I can make plenty of game plays or even buy a game if there is enough interest in a game play. Leave a comment and let us know! We’ll try to accommodate. Thanks for reading and stay tuned for more content! ~ Sai

Upcoming Post #2

Hey guys Sai here! Rather hard for me to keep up with the videos right now, so I apologize for that. Most of the things I do in TNG are pretty much my burden alone to take care of and with how any hours I have been working and as life goes on it has been hard for me to even try to keep up. Hopefully within the next few days I will release a new video or two. Hopefully something special. I have a few ideas rolling around in my head. Just what remains to be seen is whether these are good ideas! So stay tuned, don’t hate me too much and sit back and enjoy the upcoming content!

Game Recommendation Of The Week – Mount And Blade

Hey guys Sai here! Sorry we’ve been so slow getting posts and videos out. Busy time of the year for us all, plus I have been feeling pretty ill for the past week, so not much getting done there. Hopefully we will be back no track here soon. For this weeks game recommendation I have pulled a game out of my box of many games and picked what has to be one of my top games of all time. Now if you did not guess it from the title , this game is Mount And Blade. I could definitely go into a full on review for this game but I will leave that for the sequel game to get the review! M&B is a RPG/Action/Sandbox-ish/Epic game developed by Tale Worlds Entertainment and published by Paradox Interactive. This game has held my interest for many a hours, though my Steam profile says only 15.3 hours I have a second copy on my Amazon account that I played for many more than that. Don’t get me wrong this game is not for everyone, as near the tail end of your experiences in Calradia (game world) it does get a little repetitive. But the sheer amount of customization and things to do will keep any RPG and action game lover occupied at least for a little while. Also did I mention any about the fact that you can siege castles, build armies, and engage in massive 300+ man battles? Yeah that is right..all of that is included in M&B. honestly though while M&B 1 is a damn fine game, its sequel Warband does the job better. Still though, I would recommend the first game to those that like these types of games, and I would also recommend any of its sequels, but we will get into those another time. You can find the game both at Steam for 14.99 and at Amazon for 8.97 (currently). thanks for reading guys and stay tuned for more videos and blog posts!!!

Fallout New Vegas Review

Welcome sir or madam, to the world known as New Vegas. “This wasteland almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter”, with scorching heat and deadly rad scorpions there shall never be an end to the amount of danger this environment can bring,

Graphics 6/10 – Graphics would be slightly higher to a 6.5 or 7 if this game was the first in the series however there was nothing new with New Vegas compared to Fallout 3, especially with Bethesda still using G.E.C.K back from pre 2007.

Gameplay – 8/10 – FNV alone has over 250+ hours of non-stop gameplay that is more than enough to ask for. Even though Bethesda did not change their engine at all they still made it interesting with a complete land scape change, a whole new theme that gamers have not experienced before. From the start the gamer is murdered and then revived and then put on a man hunt to find the murderer in which the gamer knows who it is, the gamer can identify the man’s voice by his last line of the cut scene “The game was rigged from the start baby”. Other than the beginning and the countless hours of gameplay the game also brought in the hardcore mode which made it realistic and even more intense, having a hunger/water meter and making the player sleep just makes this game impossible to pass up. unfortunately though there were not as many super mutants as there was in Fallout 3 or any of the older fallouts dating back all the way to its PC days. with Blood and gore, Intense Violence, Sexual content, Strong language, and use of drugs this game is a must play.

Sound – Right off the bat, no seriously right off the bat went someone’s head. For sound effects were amazing Bethesda and Obsidian did a amazing job on enhancing the sound effects on guns, however the radio station’s music would get extremely boring in the first 2 hours of gameplay I strongly recommend making a 24+ hour playlist to listen to while playing.

Killing Floor Game Review

Hey guys this is Sai here! I am bringing you the game review of the week. This week I am rolling out one of my favorite games ever, and also the game that I have by far spent the most time on (other than LoL). It was also one of TNG’s first games that we played together; that is right you guessed it: Killing Floor. According to Steam records I have spent a total of 142 hours on this game, That is just 2 hours shy of being 6 full days that I have spent playing this game. That is a lot of time if you ask me. By I disgress on how much I have spent playing it, let us perhaps look at why I recommend it. IT’S FREAKING AWESOME!

Oh..that is not a very good reason to recommend something I guess. Or perhaps just not detailed enough. Just the basics of Killing Floor: it is a first person shooter, a zombie (or Zed’s as the game refers to them) horror game, with 6 person co-op teams, 6 different classes, endless fun, and plenty of different maps to play. The co-op alone had me when I first stumbled upon KF (killing floor), at the time I had been looking for  a game that would allow the entire TNG squad to play together. Well when I saw videos on Rooster Teeth’s channel I knew I absolutely wanted to get this game. It was actually for once a good game choice for me and the crew. Looking at Kano’s Steam stats he has played the 167 hours, even more than I have played, and Jake sits at 103 hours played, (Matt  has only put in 45 hours noob). Overall we have played the game together quite a bit. I would say this is quite an achievement for our crew here (goodness knows we’ve probably put twice the number into League of Legends). So a game has got to be good to have people that many hours into it right? Not really, hours alone is not enough, let us look at what else is great about KF.

Killing Floor is perhaps not he best looking game but there is something appealing about its graphics. The developers over at Tripwire Interactive did a fantastic job of creating a atmosphere within the game with the graphics. The maps are designed to look precisely as if a zombie outbreak was well underway. Many of the maps have a dark ,and horrifying look to them and there has been many of a time I have gotten the shakes out by a map, including a few that i refuse to play. So a job well done to how the graphics add to the atmosphere of the game.

Next we have the perks or classes. There are seven perks within the game: Field Medic, Support Specialist, Sharpshooter, Commando, Berserker, Firebug, and Demolitions. Bet you guys do not know which one I pick!! Okay you probably do, the Field Medic. The perks each bring something different to the table. Different perks/abilities come with being a certain perk, but a player can use the weapons of any of the other perks if they so wish (though they will be more expensive). I think that the perks are a great thing in KF, they bring a good amount of variety and pretty much allow for all types of players. Be it the person who likes to hang back and heal his squad members (me) or the person who likes to be up front slashing away (Berserker). I feel this is one of the strengths of the game, that and the variety of weapons offered in the game.

The game offers from my count on the wiki page about 50 weapons total. Fifty weapons total (counting dlc weapons) but not counting mod weapons for single player. Yes that is right mod weapons. If you get killing Floor through Steam you get to use the awesome modding that Steam has to offer for KF. This just adds even more to the variety of the game, plus not to mention customization. Add to that there also a good amount of DLC skins to buy from Steam in addition to skin you can mod KF with. Oh and you remember I said there were plenty of maps? There area total of 21 maps that Tripwire has rolled out for the game and a endless legion of mod maps you can download for the game (and even play multi-player on).

Honestly the single-player is the only downfall of the game in my opinion. And that is because this game is pretty boring by yourself. Yes that is my only reason for that. The game seems made for co-op (probably was), because who on earth wants to fight against zombies by themselves, not I. Yeah yeah, we all know I am big into the co-op experience but this is not my bias speaking out (maybe a little bit).

So if you are looking for a game that offers variety, customization, an endless amount of modding, and some good ol’ co-op zombie obliterating action Killing Floor is the game for you. You have my guaranteed word on it. All 142 hours spent on that game have been a fun experience. You can find Killing Floor here at Steam or here at Amazon. The $19.99 price tag on Steam is definitely worth it, plus if you go the Amazon route I do not believe you can mod as easily or easily get the DLC’s. Thanks for reading guys!!

Video of the Week

Hey guys! Sai here. Just a quick short post for a new video upload. You’ve probably noticed I do not always post for all the videos, cause heck that would be a pain. But I try to post for every other one or every three videos, just to show that we are keeping up on posting videos in-case people have not seen them. also in addition to a few new videos uploaded I have also been working on thumbnails for our videos. Please let us know what you think of them. They give our videos a little more flash when you see them in the suggestions, rather than a random picture taken out of the video it is for.  So without further ado  you can find the video here . I hope you guys enjoy it, (another League video). And as always if you guys have any suggestions or whatever you would like us to look at please let us know.

Taco On Ninjas!
